In the “Miniature World,” world-famous architectural structures such as the Arc de Triomphe and the Great Wall of China are displayed at 1/25th the size, and are well worth seeing. In the “World of Remains,” sculptures and ruins of ancient civilizations are on display. In the “Forest of Fairy Tales,” eight scenes from fairy tales from around the world are on display.
Visitors can also enjoy a total of 20 ride attractions, including go-karts and a new lawn slide. Various hands-on craft classes are also available, making this a facility that can be enjoyed by both adults and children.
The 15th Awaji Hanahanro Temple on Awaji Island features seasonal flowers. In particular, the rows of American daisy trees, which are rare in Japan, the England Rose Garden, olives, and other flowers that bloom in the mild climate unique to Awaji Island compete in splendor with the miniature World Heritage Site, and the park with its international flavor is full of attractions.
The World Cruise offers a boat tour of the world’s famous landmarks made in miniature. The elaborate miniature world of World Heritage sites, including the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Arc de Triomphe, are well worth seeing.
