Sakura Masamune Kinenkan “Sakura Banquet” is located in the center of Nada-Gogo, and was established to convey to future generations the identity of the origin of Masamune sake after overcoming the ordeal of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. It includes a restaurant, exhibition room, gallery, store, and café.
At the Sakura Banquet sake brewery dining room, a special dish unique to the brewery, “ponshu nabe,” has been added to the new menu. In addition, a new drinking area called “Sanpa-ya” has been established as a place to casually enjoy sake. After your tour, please visit Shop Sakuragura to find the sake of your choice.
On the second floor, a collection of sake bottles, signboards, labels, and other items that tell the story of Sakura Masamune’s more than 300-year history are on display in the exhibition room. You can also watch a video of sake brewing in the past.
At the “Sakuragura” store, freshly pressed sake is sold by weight in a separate building. Local specialties and local products are also available for purchase as souvenirs.
